Description
Zoning By-law amendment application to facilitate the phased redevelopment of the Jane Finch Mall. The submitted Official Plan Amendment proposes to establish a site and area specific policy (SASP) in order to facilitate the long-term, multi-phased redevelopment of the lands. The Zoning By-law Amendment proposes the development of Phase 1, incorporating the lands fronting on Finch Avenue West. Six new buildings are proposed, with tower heights ranging from 50 to 27 storeys. In total, Phase 1 proposes to deliver 2,730 new residential units. A total of 5,667.6 square metres of non-residential gross floor area is proposed, including 4,703 square metres of retail, approximately 465 square metres of indoor community space, and a 500-square metre day care centre. During Phase 1, most of the Jane Finch Mall is proposed to be retained, with approximately 2,500 square metres proposed to be demolished. Application Number: 23184369WET07OZ
