Free Community Workshops with Belinda Ageda African/ Caribbean/ Black identifying community members are invited to explore self care in this free 2-hour Arts in Health community workshop. Learn how to foster creative exploration and mental wellbeing through mapping exercises and expressive and contemplative drawing. Even learn how to use your cellphone for stress management! BELINDA AGEDA is an experienced Arts in Health professional, who has delivered arts-based wellness workshops for over 15 years. Having developed a wealth of creative tools for well-being based on her visual arts, art therapy training and mindfulness practices, Belinda has dedicated years of research into wellness, historical impacts on the Black body/mind and the effective use of art and mindfulness techniques, measured against her own lived experience as a Black woman in North America.
