    Description

Join Don Gillmor for a conversation about his new book Breaking and Entering. A messy family-life, the hottest Toronto summer on record, a mid-life crisis and a google search, all lead Bea into the world of amateur lock-picking. Gillmor’s novel breaks into the existential angst sometimes felt by the sandwich generation, those caring for both elderly parents and their own children. By the Lake Book Club offers six Tuesday-night events, between February and December featuring leading Canadian authors in conversation with Humber College graduates and alumni. Each in-person event includes a reading, discussion, audience Q&A, book-signing and American sign language interpretation. Virtual events are live and provide online viewing and audio.
