About Us

The Community Living Ontario Foundation was created to develop resources that support Community Living Ontario's initiatives and expand our capacity to do this important work.

What We Do
We promote positive change through public policy and advocacy. We provide expertise and resources to decision-makers, educators, local members, families and self-advocates. We create public awareness and networking opportunities. We nurture community leadership, capacity and innovation.
Our Mission
Community Living Ontario advocates with people who have an intellectual disability, their families and member organizations, to create inclusive communities across Ontario.
Our Vision
Community Living Ontario envisions an Ontario where everyone belongs, is valued, and has the freedom to live the life they choose.
Our Initiatives
Advocacy, Research and Awareness
Lead the way in advocating with people, families, and member organizations to change policy and remove barriers to inclusion.
We work alongside people who have intellectual disabilities and their families as well as the government to shape public policy that is practical and progressive.
Family Engagement
Connect, support, and empower families.
Recognizing that families played an essential role in sparking the Community Living movement, we continue to create opportunities for them to connect and drive the movement forward.
Youth Outreach
The goal is to ensure that youth who have an intellectual disability aren’t left behind and are authentically included.
Funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, Student Links is an opportunity for students (ages 14 to 21) who have an intellectual disability to explore ideas for their future after high school.
Ready, Willing & Able transforms and increases labour force participation of people who have an intellectual disability and those on the autism spectrum.
