As members of Eastminster United Church, actively engaged in the ministry of Jesus Christ, we are called to be a caring family, united in joyful fellowship and responsive to the needs of our neighbours. With God's help and guidance, we are therefore committed to the worship of God, to provide for Christian nurture and pastoral care, to give faithful witness and leadership within our community and to help those in need, in our land and throughout the world.
About EASTMINSTER UNITED CHURCH
Eastminster United Church, WHERE FAITH COMES TO LIFE, is a congregation of the United Church of Canada. It provides a welcoming church community and a comprehensive program of Christian Education and fellowship activities for all age groups. Eastminster is committed to Ministry both locally and globally, with considerable community support and outreach. In addition to its own activities and support groups, it shares its facilities with over 40 organizations and agencies. Open Door Cafe is a weekly prepared meals program offering hot lunches every Wednesday for those who have trouble making ends meet and for seniors who usually eat alone. There is also a weekly Grief Support Group.
