Friends of the Fort Erie Public Library Verified listing

We raise funds to support special projects of the three branches of the Fort Erie Public Library. Next on the wish list are funds for children's programming. In 2023 we've already given $2000 for an Oculus virtual reality station. In 2022 we gave $5550 for book club sets, children's activity stations, children's programming and Rinkside reading books. In 2021 we gave $6000 for a mobile kitchen (for cooking programs for all ages), $1500 for a music lending library (of instruments and lesson materials) and $4000 for children's programs (such as take home craft kits and outdoor story walks). 
Our group is wholly volunteer. We formed in 2014, and have donated over $63,000 to FEPL in that time. Our funds have supported author visits, summer reading activities, the Rinkside Reading nook at the Crystal Ridge arena, a toddler play structure, and children's theatre productions at the library.
