Description
A group of 6 dedicated local residents worked alongside facilitators Khadijah Morely and Kleo Ali to delve into the work of printmaking. Participants learned about the history of the printmaking medium, its uses in both art and community, and learned how to translate their artistic ideas into art using linocut and screen printing – all while building community with their neighbours. Attendees will have the opportunity to print their own screen-printed canvas tote featuring some of the participants' artwork! Supplies are limited, and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Artwork created during the program will remain on display at Nia Centre for one week. Light refreshments, good music, and good vibes will be provided
