Resources for Exceptional Children - Durham Region will assist the family to enhance their child's participation in their community, and support the family to advocate for services that they require.

Resources for Exceptional Children - Durham Region will work in partnership with agencies and organizations to foster an inclusive continuum of services and facilitate the community's capacity to respond to the families needs.

Resources for Exceptional Children - Durham Region will deliver services in accordance with the mandate and the resources available to us.
About RESOURCES FOR EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN - DURHAM REGION

The Agency provides service to families with children with special needs aged 0 to 18 years old and licensed childcare placements.

Families must live in and/or utilize services with Durham Region. Services with bordering will be negotiated on an individual basis.

Particular programs and services are available to the community at large.

Programs inlcude:

Child Care Centre, Children's Case Coordination Services of Durham,
Community Residential Placement, Consultation, Enhanced Staffing,
Family Networking, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Committee,
Children's Mental Health Funding, and the Resource Library.
