Our Mission
Founded in 1971, The House Youth Centre offers peer-support, community involvement and leadership activities for the benefit of young people in the Town of Amherstburg. We are the only youth centre servicing our community.
About The House
The House Youth Centre is a non-denominational youth centre, located in the heart of Amherstburg, Ontario.  We have activities for youth in Grades 9 to 12. Weekly peer-support meetings are led by our Program Coordinator and a team of dedicated adult volunteer leaders. Our members are given the opportunity to share their experiences, opinions and feelings in a safe, non-judgmental, environment that is built on trust and respect.
Through a variety of outlets for self-expression, creativity and volunteerism they learn valuable life lessons that will assist them on their journey to becoming influential members of their community.
Together, we're helping today's youth become tomorrow's leaders.
