About the Toronto Santa Claus Parade

The Santa Claus Parade is a cherished Toronto tradition that is run purely by a volunteer Board of Directors and that receives no public funding. The parade is made possible through generous donations, primarily corporate float sponsors and celebrity clowns. However, not unlike other businesses and organizations, recent tough economic times have taken a toll on the Parade and, as a result, overall sponsorship and donations are down.

This year, we are asking you, the public, for support to ensure the Parade can continue to deliver the spectacular floats, bands and entertainment that has made it one of the most recognized holiday traditions in the country.
