The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is an International lay Catholic organization whose mission is: To live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy. The Mission implies that as Vincentians, we see Christ in anyone who suffers, come together as a family, have personal contact with the poor and help in all possible ways.
The Vincentians at St. Francis Xavier Parish conduct home visits (pre-pandemic) and provide food vouchers or grocery gift cards to our neighbors in need (curb side drop off during pandemic).  In addition we have summer camps for both boys and girls (pre-pandemic). We have also co-hosted along with St. Francis Xavier Secondary School, a Christmas Dinner for families/individuals we have helped during the year, to ensure they are provided with gifts and cheer to spread the joy of Christmas.
