Description
An art exhibit challenging the enduring and implicit misperceptions on Black Art while showcasing the importance of Black Art and its impact across cultures, nations, and styles. The event invites you to explore and challenge any conscious or unconscious stereotypes. Celebrate Black Art and Cuban culture with artwork by BIPOC Cuban artists and allies including Eduardo de la Cruz Guerra, Renier Cabrera Marrero, Agustín Hernández Carlos, fashion show by Canadian designer Lagachette Suits, live music and interpretive dancing by Okan Music, and Latin-inspired music to close the night. Classic Cuban cocktails will be served courtesy of Havana Club.
