Did you realize the TDSB provides only one third of the funds required to meet our school’s full spend for the year? Without your funds, our children will not be able to enjoy the extensive curriculum enhancements the Council provides. For example, the classrooms will not be as technologically advanced, the teachers will have no discretionary funds for supplies and the gym and library will be less well equipped. 
To make this year even more difficult, the TDSB has halted all fundraising efforts except electronic fund collection. This makes our Annual Give request more important than ever. The cost of our budget is $250 per student, so we ask that you consider this your starting point when donating. Thank you for your support!
As the Parent Council, we are deeply involved in our school, and work hard to ensure the investment you make in your child is used to create the best experience they can have at Whitney. The Council, the teachers and the staff are committed to developing the mind, spirit and character of everyone at the school. We advocate for their education; we strive for their success; we fundraise for their future.
