The mission of the Britannia Woods Community House is to provide community-driven programs, services and resources that will assist individuals and families living in low income or working poor to achieve a higher quality of life with an emphasis on social, mental wellbeing, educational, and recreational opportunities.
About Britannia Woods Community House Inc.
The Britannia Woods Community House opened in 1976 with the purpose of ensuring the families living in the Britannia Woods community had access to social, educational recreational supports. Our programs and services include; afterschool programming and summer camps for children and youth, community outreach and engagement, lunch program, computer/internet room, information and referral services and tailored wellbeing and crisis supports that are culturally-appropriate and safe. 
In the early 1990s, an emergency Food Pantry was implemented to provide with an emergency food supply.
