The Character Community Foundation of York Region provides children, youth and adult character development programs and initiatives that focus on positive character attributes and behaviours that lead to personal achievement and success and build caring and inclusive communities.

ABOUT CHARACTER COMMUNITY YORK REGION
Character Community York Region is the first registered Character Community charity in Canada whose mission is to engage individuals and organizations in positive character development. Since 2001, Character Community York Region has been providing character development programs and initiatives for children, youth and adults throughout York Region. We deliver four programs throughout York Region: The Slap Shot Hockey Program for underprivileged/newcomer children, Youth Social Justice Day program, Music Alive program and the Character Community E.G. Senior's Task Force senior's program.
