Food on the table or clean clothes?  This hard choice is a reality for many low income Ottawa families.  The Community Laundry Co-op (CLC) not only provides clean clothes for $2.00 a load (wash, dry and soap included) but it also means being part of a community.   Our member volunteers welcome and assist newcomers in operating the machines as well as providing a cup of coffee and a chance to chat while the wash is being done.  Our counsellor provides support and referrals in a safe welcoming environment.  Anyone can become a member for just $2.00 a year. They can attend social events, volunteer or take part in our Community Impact Laundry program which offers laundry and delivery services to local clients at competitive rates while providing opportunities for members to gain work experience, develop their skills, and supplement their income.
