The Health Centre’s principal activities include the provision of community oriented primary care including health promotion and disease prevention services by family physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
The Health Centre aims to effectively eliminate obstacles to health through accessible, inter-professional, community and family health care. Client programming includes primary care, social work, immigrant/refugee services, prenatal nutrition, physiotherapy, chiropody, health promotion programs, asthma coping, diabetes, client advocacy, chronic obstruction pulmonary disease (COPD) programming, falls and exercise prevention, and pathways to education.
