About HURONIA SYMPHONY INCORPORATED
The Huronia Symphony Orchestra started as a small baroque orchestra, performing in Collier St. Church, under the direction of Mr. Lloyd Tufford. From those beginnings, the HSO has continuously grown, both in our artistic capacity, and in our community outreach.
Our current Conductor and Artistic Director, Maestro Oliver Balaburski has provided a modern vision and a master's touch to our Orchestra, while our Board of Directors comprises a diverse group of outstanding individuals who are paving the way to a bright future for our orchestra.
Our community musicians made up of performers throughout Barrie and Simcoe County, and led by five professional musicians including our concert master, are the integral group that distinguish the character of our orchestra.
HSO has reached a critical point in our growth. We have re-launched with a new logo, and a new attitude, and need your support to reach more people and expand our horizons even further.Read more
