Description
This inaugural survey exhibition of a renowned Toronto-based artist will include new and existing work from across June Clark's illustrious career. Since the late 1960s, Clark has developed a unique and groundbreaking practice spanning photo-based work, text, collage, installation, and sculptural assemblages. Fuelling her over six-decade practice are questions of identity formation and their connection to our points of origin. Witness will bring together four significant bodies of work that stretch from the 1990s to the present, many of them seen here for the first time.
