Description

The Jur-Ed Foundation is a law-related educational organization concerned with legal rights and the practice of law. The Jur-Ed Foundation was founded in the 1970s and works on legal education projects and legal education writing concerning social justice and human rights issues.
We look to partner with progressive organizations doing work to benefit communities, as well as remaining devoted to work demystifying legal systems and structures. Past campaigns have included translating materials for the Immigrant Legal Committee of the Law Union of Ontario and supporting a People’s Commission into the tragic death of Dudley George at Ipperwash. Most recently, the Jur-Ed Podcast launched to present alternative perspectives on legal issues.
