The Canadian Clock Museum - Canada's only clock museum, and the only such museum in the world telling the surprising Canadian clocks story - started its 23rd year in January 2022.
It opened in May 2000 to showcase and research Canadian clocks from the early 1800s to the present time. Since then more than 15,000 visitors have toured the clocks-filled exhibits. Included are many period artifacts that place the various clocks in historical context. And countless more people have sent e-mail requests for information about inherited and found clocks through the museum's web site.
Allan Symons, the museum's founder, Manager, and Curator, has now published nine articles about Canadian clock companies and special clocks in the Pennsylvania-based NAWCC Bulletin for watch and clock collectors around the world. A tenth is currently in draft form.
Donations are gratefully accepted to help pay for new acquisitions, and tax receipts are issued annually.
