    Join Turtle Protectors first monthly Wetland Walk. January's walk will feature LeeAnne Bewasaya Shawanabineshii Stevens, is Loon Clan, from Chippewas of Nawash, Unceded First Nation #27, Ambassador of Peace, Grandmother, Water walker, Knowledge Keeper, Sundancer, Caretaker of Sleds and Sled Dogs and Founder of the Annual Wendaajiwondehnong Bimoseyan Mother Water Walk. LeeAnne and three of her sled dogs will story water as we follow Wendigo Creek to Grenadier Pond. You'll leave this walk feeling better connected to yourself, the Land and Water and with the understanding that water has transported the Peoples of these lands in all seasons since time immemorial. This event will begin at the Chess House near the Bloor entrance of High Park. The walk will follow uneven trails that hug the east shore of Wendigo Creek and Grenadier Pond.
