Description
Join City staff on a winter hike where we explore winter deciduous tree identification. Indoor learning component included. Forestry staff will teach participants how to use an identification key inside the community centre before heading outside to practice. The tour will be energetic to help maintain warmth, but please ensure that you are dressed according to the weather and are prepared for uneven and slippery terrain. Events are an ideal activity for individuals, community groups and families. All are welcome to attend. Walk distances will range from 2 – 5 km.
