Description
The leader of a new generation of flamenco vocalists, Israel Fernández infuses traditional flamenco singing with his own raw, theatrical style. He will be accompanied by guitarist Diego del Morao, who has worked with the most successful artists of the genre, including Diego El Cigala, Niña Pastori, José Mercé, and even Paco de Lucía. Seffarine’s music is a fusion of Arabic, Iberian, and West African cultures. Vocalist Lamiae Naki and co-composer/oud player/flamenco guitarist Nat Hulskamp meld Arab-Andalusi and flamenco music cohesively into their compositions.
